Delete your account

You can delete your Munch AI account at any time, either directly in the app or by emailing us. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and the personal data associated with it, as described below. This page applies to the Munch AI mobile app for iOS and Android.

The fastest way is from inside the Munch AI app:

• Open Munch AI and sign in.
• Go to the Account tab.
• Choose Delete Account.
• Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action cannot be undone.

If you can no longer access the app, email us at hello@munchai.io from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Account deletion request.” We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we'll confirm once the deletion is complete.

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your account profile, including your email address and username.
• Your saved recipes, taste preferences, and other content associated with your account.
• Your sign-in credentials with Munch AI.

Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for legitimate business or legal purposes — for example, records of purchases processed by the app stores. Subscriptions are managed by Google Play or the Apple App Store; deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription, which you can manage in your store account settings.
