Munch AI operates the munchai.io website, along with the Munch AI iOS and Android mobile apps, which provide AI-powered recipe generation based on user-inputted ingredients. • Content you provide — the ingredients you enter, recipes you save or import, photos you choose to import, and your taste preferences, including dietary needs and allergies, used only to tailor recipes to you.
• Purchase information — your subscription status and purchase history from the app stores. Payment is handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
• Usage and diagnostics — device information, app interactions, and crash reports that help us keep Munch AI fast and reliable.

We collect information through user sign-ups and use of the Munch AI iOS and Android mobile apps, as well as on the website.

Munch AI never sells your personal information, and we never share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. We do rely on a small set of service providers that process information on our behalf to run Munch AI: cloud hosting, authentication, and database services (Google Firebase), subscription management (RevenueCat), product analytics (PostHog), crash reporting (Sentry), and the AI services that generate recipes and food photography, which process the ingredients and content you submit. These providers act on our instructions, receive only what they need to provide their service, and may not use your information for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab in the app (Account → Delete Account), or by emailing us — see how to delete your account for the full steps. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved recipes, preferences, and sign-in credentials. Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for legitimate business or legal purposes, such as records of purchases processed by the app stores.

You can access and update your information in the app, request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave, at any time, by using the in-app controls or contacting us at the address below. We honor these rights as required by applicable law, including the GDPR and the CCPA where they apply, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Munch AI does not use cookies on its website.

We value your trust in providing your Personal Information and strive to use commercially acceptable methods to protect it. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
